Ski Sails

Ski sailing is one of the fastest growing sports to hit the snow sport industry.  The sail and harness are easy to use, and in minutes you can be flying across a frozen lake or a high mountain plateau.  Most cross-country skiers can enjoy this sport with little or no sailing experience.  Ski sailing allows you to participate in multiple sports at one time.  Ski out to your favorite lake, undo the sail from the pack, sail for awhile, and then finish your tour by cross-country skiing.  Or, go to the top of your favorite high mountain plateau, sail for awhile, and then spend the rest of the day doing turns.

Ski sails comes in a high quality backpack that also serves as the harness.  We carry several models of ski sails and also provide lessons.

Ski sailing with Dan Clausen was featured in National Geographic Adventure Magazine as one of 10 Perfect Ski Trips in 2001 and in Cross Country Skier Magazine in an article entitled With the wind at your back in 2003.
